2023 Hometown Throwdown

We had our second Hometown Throwdown on September 8th, in downtown Lyons.  As a way for the Toombs County School System to show their appreciation to the downtown businesses they rely on for support, they decided to bring the crowd downtown. The school system, local businesses, and organizations filled downtown to kick off the new football season. Nearly all of the sports teams and clubs brought out a table and tent to share information, give away free merch, or sell items as a fundraiser. After the 'Dog Walk'. everyone headed to The Pit to support the team!
