Lyons Community Clean Up

This is an annual event to foster pride in the community and love where you live.

Do you want to live in a cleaner community?

We do!  Community clean-ups are a wonderful way to engage with your neighbors, positively impact the environment, and enhance the beauty of your local area.

The City of Lyons code enforcer Chris Failla, "Chris the Code Man" will host our first annual Lyons Community Clean Up on September 9th from 9 am - 12 noon. Volunteers will meet at Partin Park at the L.E.E.T. Pavillion to receive gloves, bags, and water. Groups will be assigned an area to work on. Volunteers will be dropped off at different locations and picked up as we collect the bags. Everyone will return to the L.E.E.T. Pavillion and eat lunch.

If you are interested, please fill out the form below so we can plan how many gloves and lunches to prepare. This is a great opportunity for community service projects for schools, clubs, and organizations.
