2025 Real Squeal Recap

Real Squeal Pageant 

In August, we hosted our Miss Real Squeal Scholarship Pageant, and it was an incredible event.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the contestants who participated. With 108 talented young women competing for scholarships and cash prizes, the pageant was a true showcase of confidence, poise, and achievement.

We are proud to recognize our 2025 titleholders:
Miss Quortney Perkins, Ms. Kaitlynn Reining, Junior Miss Isabella Ibarra, Baby Miss Maggie Almazan, Miss Katelyn Harris, Toddler Miss Halie Cobb, Tiny Miss McKenna Gaddy, Young Miss Sydney Nicole Black, Petite Miss Athena Vallada, and Little Miss Ryleigh-Grey Hitchcock.

The Real Squeal BBQ & Music Festival

On October 3rd & 4th, Lyons Main Street proudly hosted the 16th Annual Real Squeal BBQ & Music Festival.

Friday night, downtown Lyons came alive with vendors lining the square, followed by a street dance featuring CJ Mincey opening for Blaine Craft, bringing a great night of country music to the community. The evening wrapped up with an incredible fireworks show.

Saturday’s festivities moved to the park, where 33 professional BBQ teams competed for the title of Grand Champion. The day was filled with delicious food, arts and crafts vendors, and a strong turnout from the community.

Also on Saturday, the Real Squeal Car Show at Lyons First Baptist Church was a great success and added even more excitement to the weekend.
