Hometown Market on Broad is a monthly farmers market held in Downtown Lyons, typically on the first Saturday of each month. The market brings together local farmers, growers, bakers, artisans, makers, food vendors, and small businesses to showcase the best our community has to offer.
More than just a place to shop, the market is an opportunity to support local entrepreneurs, discover unique products, and connect with neighbors. Every purchase helps strengthen our local economy and invest in the people and businesses that make our hometown special.
The market is open to the public, no admission fee required. We invite residents and visitors alike to shop local, support small businesses, and enjoy a morning in Downtown Lyons.
Vendor Highlights:
Vendor Space is limited, so an approved application is required. Spots fill up quickly, so please be aware that completing an application does not guarantee you a space for that month. We will send you a confirmation email with a space assignment number. Due to the small nature of our market, we may choose not to feature several vendors who are selling the same or very similar product. This is in effort to ensure the success for the market as well as each vendor participating that month.
There is no entry fee to participate, however we ask that in lieu of application/entry fee, each vendor participating will contribute an item (no less than $20) to include in our Merchant Basket Giveaway - Shoppers will have the opportunity to enter the drawing on the day of the market, however they do not have to be present to win.
To maintain the family-friendly atmosphere of the market, all products must be appropriate for all ages.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, displays, and must be fully set up by 8:30 AM while remaining until the market closes at 12:30 PM. Vendor setup begins at 7:30 AM—Each vendor will be assigned an area. You will receive a map indicating your assigned space via email.
