In addition to a Kansas City Barbeque Society-sanctioned competition and Backyard BBQ contest, The Real Squeal Festival will feature food vendors, exhibitors, and contestant booths, tons of tasty treats to satisfy every whim, car show, disc golf tournament, cruise-in, and an incredible lineup of live entertainment.

Free parking is available outside the entrances of the park.
There is no handicap parking, this is a walking event.

Do I need to purchase a ticket to get in the festival?
NO, Friday & Saturday are FREE entry!
Can I sample the BBQ competition food?
Public tasting is not offered as part of the BBQ competition, however, there will be dozens of vendors (including several cook teams) who will be selling BBQ, and other food and beverages at the festival. Prices will vary among vendors.
Are the inflatables free?
No, pay-to-play inflatables and rock wall.
Will there be ATM machines on-site?
No, ATM machines will not be available at the festival.
Will alcohol be sold at the festival?
No. No coolers allowed.
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
No. For the safety and comfort of festival goers, owners are discouraged from bringing their four-legged family members. Many dogs do not respond well to large crowds, loud noises and the heat.
Can I bring my golf cart or other motorized vehicles?
No. Due to the number of people attending the festival, they are not allowed.
