What The Real Squeal Festival is a 2-day BBQ and music festival featuring some of the best BBQ, friendly competition amongst cookers, and music to suit every taste. Both days are packed with a combination of food vendors, arts & crafts, exhibitors, and contestant booths, tons of tasty treats, Magic Show (Saturday), Car Show & Competition (Saturday), Disc Golf Tournament, Car Cruise-in (Friday night), Indian Artifact Show (Saturday), and an incredible lineup of live entertainment.

Frequently Asked Questions 1. Do I need to purchase a ticket to get into the festival? No, Friday and Saturday are free entry!
2. What about parking? *For Friday--Free parking is available behind City Hall & behind Lyons Main Street (both on North Broad side) as well as ample parking at the Toombs County Courthouse. *For Saturday--Free parking is available outside the entrances of the park.
3. Are the inflatables free? No, pay-to-play inflatables and rock wall.
4. Will there be ATMs on-site? No, ATMs will not be available at the festival. The closest ATMs will be located at People's Bank, Vidalia Federal Lyons Branch, En-Market, etc.
5. Will alcohol be available for sale at the festival? Yes! Our downtown is located within the Entertainment District, thereby allowing authorized, licensed downtown businesses to sell alcohol in designated cups. Hardware Pizza, Guacomole 2, and Prime Cut are our authorized alcohol vendors. BYOB is not allowed. No coolers allowed.
Can I bring my dog to the festival? No. For the safety and comfort of festival goers, owners are discouraged from bringing their four-legged family members. Many dogs do not respond well to large crowds, loud noises, and the heat.
Can I bring my golf cart or other motorized vehicles? No. Due to the number of people attending the festival, they are not allowed.
