If you haven't heard, a movie is being filmed in Lyons this week! It's a feel-good story about a girl who gets sent to live with her grumpy grandpa. They reconnect over finding her father's derby car in the barn, restoring it, and learning to race. I don't think they could have chosen a better place to film than the home of the Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby! Keep your eyes open, you never know who you may see around town!
