Leslie Harrell showcasing the dress she wore when she won the first Miss Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby Pageant in 1993.

Leslie has a passion for the community and getting her Queens involved. Since the pageant in February, they could be found at the Toombs County Special Olympics, Vidalia Onion Festival,  the Fair, and at Inspection before the Local Race creating videos.

Leslie states that she has a heart for it. "I love doing it, I felt like giving back, it was on my heart and I felt like it was calling for me."

Leslie is most proud of the relationships that she has made with new contacts and the pageant contestants. "Watching the little girls grow within themselves and having them come to me knowing that I am there for them is special."

She is thankful for the opportunity to direct the pageant and states, "I have grown as well. I've met a lot of people and they have impacted me. Lyons is special to me, I went to Robert Toombs and was the first Miss Southeast Georgis Soap Box Derby Queen. I love it!"
