Hometown Market on Broad Brings Community Together in Downtown Lyons
On Saturday, June 6, Downtown Lyons was filled with shoppers, smiles, and community spirit as Hometown Market on Broad welcomed residents and visitors for another successful market day at the 304 Society Garden.
The market featured a wonderful variety of local farmers, growers, makers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses, giving attendees the opportunity to shop local and support the hardworking entrepreneurs who help make our community unique. Throughout the morning, we experienced steady foot traffic and enthusiastic community support, with several vendors selling out of their products before the market ended.
Participating vendors included Pine Meadows Flower Farm, Watts Creek Farms Mercantile, Steppers Coffee, Downtown Craft House, Dailey Defense, Eugene Edwards, Double P Honey Bee, Herndon Trading Co., AR Face Painting, Elkatib's Mediterranean Sizzle, A&M Farms, and Mixon Pecans & Monique's Quilting.
Events like Hometown Market on Broad are about more than shopping—they are about building relationships, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities for neighbors to gather together. The success of the market reflects the strong community spirit that continues to make Lyons such a special place to live, work, and visit.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our vendors for sharing their products and talents with the community. We also thank everyone who came out to shop, visit, and support local businesses throughout the morning.
We are already looking forward to the next market and have exciting plans in the works. Stay tuned for more opportunities to shop local, connect with neighbors, and celebrate all that makes Lyons special.
