Alyssa Head Wins 3rd Place at the FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby Race
The Southeast Georgia Soap Box Derby representatives left for Akron, OH, on July 10th. They spent a week racing against boys and girls worldwide in the 86th FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby.
The local derby winners are stock winner Isaac Pickles, super stock winner Taylor Copeland, and masters winner Alexis Head. Alysa Head and Charles Conner are Rally Super Stock racers, and Noah Gordy is a Rally Masters rally racer who accumulated enough points to compete in Akron.
Alexis Head won third place in the Rally Super Stock race.
